Thanks Mana. I did the first 6, then most of the second story arc, Barren. You can buy them both as hardback collections now.

YOU designed Jace in those arcs! Sweeeeeeeet! Aside from Marcus and Cole, Stratton happens to be one of my favorite characters, features in the opening chapter of the AU fic I'm writing. Anyways... wow, to be that talented to actually have the ability to draw/create him for a comic, go you! Lol.

:) It's funny but at the time the guys at Epic were really against the corn rows, saying they were years out of fashion. Joshua Ortega fought my corner and they relented. And now cornrows ARE back in fashion. I think they've made him look a bit harder in the game, but it's great to have a character you created become popular with gamers!

I can't believe I'm talking to the person who created him! Was it you that also came up with his story and background, because it's his personality that I love the most. I've only read the one comic with him in it, and instantly, I liked him. So much so that I would buy the comics just to read more of him. Some characters have a way with me like that. I was drawn to Marcus straight away, but not just because I think he's... um, good looking, lol. He actually reminds me of Wolverine, the X-Men character I've been playing in my RPG for over seven years now :D.

:Chuckles: I just changed my avatar on here to Jace, as I was inspired. Plus, it'll be good to have a visual when I'm writing him extensively in Chapter 22 of my fic :nod:. Hmmm, I'm just going to ask, any chance you'd be interested in reading it? No worries if you aren't, just asking :P.

It was Josua Ortega who created his back story, but it's a joint effort - writer and artist. :)

As much as I love the colour - you can't be the original inks, untouched. Mel's grabbing me issue #1 and #2 when he pops up.
